Biography
Marjorie Johnson began in ceramics in 1966, taking classes at the Ross Hughye School., and she continued studying with Wayne Ngan and Byron Johnstad In 1978 she attended the Banff school of Fine Art taking classes with Ruth Duckwork and Robert Pipenberg. She exhibited at Marie von Hausmann's 'The Earthen Things' shop and gallery in Richmond, and at the House of Ceramics and the Rembrandt Gallery. Marjorie taught glaze chemistry and technique. She was also a volunteer for the Potters Guild of BC and contributed to the newsletters during the 1980s.
