Biography
English born Jo Priestley immigrated to Canada in 1967, and by 1968 had settled in BC. She joined the Mission Potters Guild in 1971, and took classes with Herman Venema in Matsqui., She established her studio, Creekside Pottery in Mission by 1976. She is a porcelain specialist.
JO is a passionate advocate for the arts and works with all the arts organization in her region, she does art workshops at schools and in her own studio.
Jo also was awarded the B.C. Impromptu Speaking champion in 2012 fromToastmasters.
She is also a marriage commissioner and has built up a spectacular garden.
