Biography

Cris Giuffrida, was a student of John Reeve in 1961 at the UBC Ceramic Huts. Her mother was Nerina Bene, a cultural figure in Vancouver who began to collect pottery after having met John Reeve. Her collection, like Jean Fahrni's became an important resource.
Cris built an early wood kiln in Chase 1983. Images, 1985,1992, of her wood kiln can be found in 'thrown', pages 35.36.
